Achieving our dream “No one sleep an empty stomach” is possible only through the generous donation and support from our volunteers, donors and partners. One such donor is the Radisson Blu Hotel Sydney, a five star hotel in the heart of Sydney, which has contributed enormously towards Astha, from the last two years.

Every year, Radisson Blu Hotel Sydney holds a Responsible Business Action Month and chooses Astha as its preferred charity to donate various items such as food, water, clothing and toiletries. During this Responsible Business Month, the hotel donates over 100 sandwiches and 250 water bottles for the homeless people. These sandwiches are special as they are handmade by the Front Office Staff who volunteer their time and support Astha in feeding the homeless. Another unique point is that each sandwich pack contains a little note with positive messages from the staff to our homeless mates.

Radisson also donates towels, blankets, pillows, quilts, doonas and bathrobes to Astha on a regular basis. In addition, the staff also volunteer their time by participating at our fortnightly Saturday service underneath the Central Station.

The support of our corporate donors is crucial to the success of Astha and we thank Radisson Blu Hotel Sydney for choosing us as their preferred charity and look forward to many such collaborations in the future.
